Evaluation process

Key information

Before Submission:

To ensure that your Full/Midseason (Varsity/College/PG Film Only) football highlight reel is ideal, please follow the guidelines outlined below:

Highlight Length: Aim for 3-5 minutes, ideally under 4 minutes.
Number Of Plays: Select 20-30 of your best, offer-worthy full plays.
We strongly recommend submitting your film with your top 10-15 run plays and top 10-15 pass plays.

Best Practices:
• Show the play from start to finish.
• For offensive linemen (OL), end the clip after your block is completed. There’s no need to show the skilled player running an additional 60 yards.
• Identify yourself pre-snap (before the play starts) on every single play.
• Use simple animations, such as simple circles and arrows only.
• Avoid using the “big dawg” status as an example.
• Music: Use instrumentals or clean music.
• If you play on both sides of the ball, we recommend creating two separate highlights and submitting two separate questionnaires.

Feel free to use any of the following highlights for grading:
• 3-Game Highlights
• Mid-Season Highlights
• 7-Game Highlights
• Full Season Highlights

During application review (Understanding Your Grade)

The film you submit is the most important factor in determining your grade. We base our grades solely on the game tape you provide, and they do not project your NFL potential or college success. Instead, they reflect how you are currently performing at the high school level at the time of submitting your tape. This is how your grades could project based on your junior or senior year full season tape:

  • 5.0: 85.00 – 100.00- Great Division 1 Prospects
  • 4.0: 80.00 – 84.99 – Good Division 1 Prospect
  • 3.0: 77.00 – 79.99 –  Solid Division 1 Bubble/ Great D2/D3/NAIA Prospect
  • 2.0: 70.01 – 76.99 – Good Division 2/Division 3/NAIA Prospect
  • 1.0: 60.00 – 70.00- (Developmental players)

Disclaimer: These grades are reflection of our personal evaluations and in no way reflect those schools or colleges. Ultimately, the school determine if you athletically qualify for their program. We have four tiers of grading:

Division 1 Tier: 80.00 – 100.00
If your score falls into this range, we believe you are likely an FBS/FCS/IVY caliber player based on your game tape alone. However, your verified size, GPA, and measurables will play a significant role in determining which scheme you are a fit for. Undersized players in this range will still be of great value to other programs. Most nationally ranked recruits have scores in this range, which serves as a great baseline.

Division 1 Bubble Tier: 77.00 – 79.99
If your score falls into this range, we believe you are likely a D1 (FBS/FCS/IVY) bubble recruit and a high-priority recruit for any D2, D3, NAIA, JUCO, or PG Programs. But your verified size, GPA, and measurables will still play a significant role in determining which scheme you are fit for. We believe that you could be a candidate for D1 schools pending an evaluation from those individual schools. We recommend that you expand your net to all divisions, as you are a recruit that could be a fit at multiple levels.

Division 2/3 & NAIA Tier 3: 70.01 – 76.99
If your score falls into this range, we believe you are a D2, D3, NAIA, or JUCO caliber player and could potentially become a starter at this level in college sports. You may also have the potential to compete at higher levels after further development. But it should be noted that your verified size, GPA, and measurables will play a significant role in determining which scheme you are a fit for. This range primarily houses recruits with the potential to be great players, but they may need coaching and refinement in their fundamentals to play at your level in your program.

Developmental Prospects – 60.00-70.00

Juniors and seniors in this tier may need to work on certain parts of their game to improve their probability of being offered by D2/D3/NAIA tier or receiving a larger financial aid package. You may be a walk on for D2/D3/NAIA program.
